PRIOR APPROVAL FORM

The Federal Election Commission (FEC) requires trade associations, such as The Fertilizer Institute (TFI), to obtain permission from a member-company before communicating to you or your employees about political activities related to FERTPAC. The FEC limits your approval of solicitations to only one trade association per calendar year.

To grant TFI permission to communicate with you or your employees, please complete this form and submit it to TFI.

FERTPAC is the only trade association PAC that exists solely to protect fertilizer producers, manufacturers, wholesalers, retailers and importers. FERTPAC allows us to support candidates who understand the vital role the fertilizer industry plays in our nation’s economy and feeding the world.

FERTPAC is requesting a separate authorization for each year listed above. However, authorization can be granted for any or all of the years by checking the corresponding date(s) above. This authorization can be revoked at any time by emailing FERTPAC@tfi.org. Contributions to FERT PAC will be used for political purposes. Only U.S. citizens or permanent residents can contribute to federal PACs. Participation is strictly voluntary and any guidelines are only suggestions. You may refuse to contribute without reprisal.

By submitting this form, I hereby authorize FERTPAC to solicit contributions from company executives and administrative personnel. In addition, the company ensures that TFI is the only trade association to whom such permission has been granted for the calendar years indicated.
