The Political Action Committee of The Fertilizer Institute (FERT PAC) is a voluntary, non-profit, unincorporated committee operating as a separate segregated fund of The Fertilizer Institute (TFI). FERT PAC is non-partisan and is not affiliated with any other political action committee or person. All contributions must be made in accordance with federal law, including the prohibitions against corporate or foreign national contributions. No individual may give more than $5,000 to FERT PAC during one calendar year. Federal law requires political action committees to report the name, mailing address, occupation, and name of employer for each individual whose contributions aggregate in excess of $200 in a calendar year. FERT PAC only solicits contributions from the employees of TFI member companies after receiving approval from each corporation for such solicitation.
